Monitoring Surveys
We use state-of-the-art survey equipment to ascertain whether movement is occurring over time, such as high precision digital levels, total stations, laser scanners & UAVs. By investing in the latest survey equipment we are able to apply the most appropriate survey methodology to each individual monitoring task.

Accurately monitoring a site is necessary for a variety of reasons, including:

-
Building & structural monitoring (subsistence, ground heave etc)
-
Stock pile monitoring (volume calculations)
-
Retaining wall monitoring
-
Coastal erosion monitoring

We use data comparison software to identify 3D movement in x, y, z coordinates to an accuracy of +/- 5mm & present the findings in an appropriate fashion, whether that's an excel spreadsheet of coordinates, an AutoCAD DWG/PDF drawing or a heat map to visually display whether movement is occurring over time.

Monitoring can occur over any period of time as required, whether thats daily, weekly, monthly or annually.
Our survey instruments are regularly calibrated to ensure accurate & reliable data is recoreded during every site visit.
